AFI

I did it.  I got up my courage and connected with a friend of mine whose grandson works for AFI.  I've heard in order to crack into a film festival it takes more then just blindly sending off your screener.  So I will contact the grandson at AFI and try to not plead too hard for him to watch my documentary, Voices of the Homeless.  It might work.  I serve with his grandmother up here in Ventura, CA, feeding the homeless every Wednesday.  The group is called Family to Family.  And his grandmother is an incredible lady.  Fingers crossed that he will take the time and watch the doc.  It's only a 1/2 hour.  Fingers crossed.
